Outstanding Results

Congratulations to all pupils who recently took Grades 2,5,6 and 7 RAD examinations. A total of 19 Distinctions with many in the high 80's and 90's and 25 high merits.

Former pupil Abigail Matthews has made her West End debut in the hit musical "The War Horse"

Former pupil Alex Jackson has extended his contract in the West End hit musical "The Bodyguard" and has also performed with Rita Ora and Arianna Grande

Abigail Matthews began her vocational training at Mountview. Before she completed her final year of training Abigail was offered her first professional engagement, a 15 month contract playing the mistress in Evita which toured all over Europe. Following this Abigail made her West End debut in the hit musical "The War Horse". Abigail was nominated for best female in The Off West End Awards for her role in The Hired Man, numerous other West End, professional musical theatre, pantomimes and summer season engagements have followed.


Kate Jordan appeared in the West End Hit Musical Billy Elliot whilst still training with us. At 16 years old, Kate was offered full scholarship places at Urdang, Bird College and Laine and chose to take up a place at Bird College. Before she had finished her final academic year, Kate was offered a dance role in the revival of the amazing show 42nd Street in Paris followed by a contract in 42nd Street in London’s West End. Kate has been in numerous productions, she has performed on music videos with all of the top recording artists, in television shows and in modeling assignments.

 

 

Caroline Rees did her Vocational training at London Studio Centre before being offered a contract with the European Ballet Company. Following this Caroline was offered a contract with the JSLN Ballet Company in Austria for two years. Caroline is currently in her second season with the Ballet Company Moravske Divadlo in The Czech Republic.

 

 

Alex Jackson trained at Urdang for three years before being offered his first West End contract in the musical "The Bodyguard" which he also toured the Far East and America with. Alex also gained a contract to perform in Thriller Live in The West End, London.He has performed with many of the world’s greatest recording artists, on TV and in music videos and he is a successful model and choreographer.

 

 

Emilie Woan trained at Performers College on the three year course graduating with a National Diploma in professional dance and also qualifying as a dance, acrobatic arts and zumba teacher. Emilie danced and performed professionally in the Uk and overseas and is currently a dance teacher at The Helen Laxton School of Dance.

 

Elise Cohen – Yuill began her vocational dance training at London Studio Centre. Elise has performed at numerous events all over the world and she has recently become a singer, songwriter and has just released her debut album.

 

Tara Ivory Jordan trained at Barbara Speake Stage School followed by Millenium Performing Arts on the 3 year Musical Theatre Diploma.

Georgia Green was offered a place at The London Theatre School, London Studio Centre and Stella Mann College, Georgia chose to study at Stella Mann College following which she performed aboard, Georgia is now teaching Dance in Somerset.

Jessica Stephens studied at PPA Academy in Guldford for 3 years, since then she has been working abroad for TUI every summer and returning to the UK to star in professional pantomime.

 

Chloe Burton - Bird College with a full scholarship for three years, a years contract with The Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship Harmony of The Seas, numerous modeling, singing and dance performances.

 

Ellen Darcey (Welch) to Ballet Theatre UK for three years training followed by lead solo dancer in the tour of Gansta Granny with The Birmingham Stage Company, dancer with Mariinsky Ballet Company, dancer with Ballet Theatre UK, now at Laban.

 

Corrie-Ella Cheshire, was offered a place to study at Stella Mann Performers College and UEL, Corrie chose to study at Stella Mann college.

Charlotte Diamond was offered a place at Chichester, Winchester, Falmouth, Plymouth & De Montfort Universities to study dance, Charlotte chose to go to De Montfort University to study for a BA (HONS) Dance and choreography.

 

Alice Hobbs gained a place at The Royal Academy of Dance, Bath Spa University & the University of Worcester. Alice decided to go to the University of Worcester to study for a degree in dance and community practice.

Mollie Foster at just 16 years old was offered a place at Millenium, Performers and Laine Theatre Arts, Mollie chose to go Laine Theatre Arts for a year followed by a scholarship to attend Urdang for 3 years.

Tilly Boulay was awarded at place at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

 

Tara Ivory Jordan was awarded places at all of the top dance and theatre schools that she auditioned for, Tara has chosen to go to The Millennium Theatre Arts School.

Emma Harris was awarded a place on the 3 year degree course at Bird College after spending the summer working in Disneyland Paris.

 

Elena Uren was awarded a place to study Drama and Theatre skills at Falmouth University.

Natasha Webb was offered a place at The Royal Academy of Dance on the three year teacher training degree programme. Natasha was also offered a place on the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies course, a distance learning programme which allows students to train in their home town whilst teaching and being mentored by their teachers.

Danika Gawronski,graduated from Chichester University with a First Class BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre and Arts Development. Danika is now teaching dance, drama and Musical Theatre.

 

Rosie Pritchard,was awarded places at various top Vocational Dance and Performing Arts Schools finally choosing to go to London Dance Studio.

 

Charlotte Hamlett,was awarded a place at Studio 76 Performing Arts College in Liverpool where she is currently training.

 

Hayley Worton, on completing a year at the Centre of Arts in Barcelona to study Dance Hayley has now been offered a place on a three yrear programme at Stella Mann.

 

Emily Roberts, was awarded places at various top Vocational Dance and Perorming Arts Schools before finally choosing Bird College.

Eronwy Selwyn, started her vocational training at Guilford School of Acting on their Actor Musicianship Course.
